Review

First, I am really thankful to Easyuni.my for giving us the preview screening tickets for X-Men: Apocalypse. Well, this is my very first writing for a movie review and I hope that you will forgive me if you’re not agree with my review. Everyone has their own opinion right? So, here’s mine.

The opening prologue to the movie itself is really interesting when they introduced En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse) which is appeared to be some ruler or a King or most probably God as the Egyptian is praising him like no one else business, is in the middle of some ritual to transfer to another vessel (I assume a mutant with a rapid healing ability which is far more greater than wolverine, and this explains how he still survive from 3600BC till the 80’s) as the vessel which he is currently in has aged. Then, he was betray and the massive pyramid crumbles and kills all of his followers together with all the kamikaze guards and entombing him.

The scene jumps to an Ohio High School and introduces us to the young Scott Summers which we known as Cyclops to as when his ability is out of control and ended him to Professor Xavier’s school for “gifted” kids after his brother Alex told him to. And he met (not actually met but bump into) Jane.

If you remember the scene from X-Men: Days of Future Past where we were amazed the effect and CGI from Quicksilver’s power when he saved Magneto from the prison. Well, this time they made it into a whole new level as Quicksilver rescue all the students from the schools (except for Alex as he is really close with the explosion and not to mention he cause the explosion). And not to blame Alex for the explosion as he is just trying to save Professor X from being kidnap by Apocalypse.

There will be a special appearance by Logan a.k.a Wolverin which is really enough to be on the movie or I can say “just nice”. Well, I suggested that you better watch the movie itself as I don’t really want to ruin the suspense and what not. And the most important part is, I rate this movie 8.7/10.
